Harrods selling Football Memorabilia shirt for £2.3 million!
Posted July 5th, 2010 by Patrick van der VorstKenneth Wolstenholme’s immortal commentary described the famous moment in English history when Sir Geoff Hurst became the first and only player to score a hat-trick in a World Cup Final. The goals came in England’s epic 4-2 win over West Germany at Wembley in 1966. His original football shirt worn by Sir Geoff Hurst during that match will be exclusively on sale at Harrods for £2 million plus VAT, which would make it the most expensive football shirt to be sold in the world.
To my knowledge the shirt hasn’t been sold yet… Worth the money?
